Statistics has become an increasingly important field in the modern information age. The explosion of data through the expansion of the internet, increased penetration of mobile phones and interconnectivity has increased the need to make sense of it all. We attempt to do this in two ways: by introducing statistical concepts through class-room-like sessions and by highlighting how statistics is being used in interesting ways.
